The atmosphere here is so great! Great place that is a lot bigger than it looks from outside. Get beer or wine from April the bartender and enjoy actually being able to hear/talk to people.

The sweet potato fries were so good, they put baking spices on it! Popcorn shrimp had a great crunch and the blue cheese burger was solid. Great happy hour, use the tokens during hh though!

This is probably my favorite date spot. If it's a nice day sit in the outdoor section in the back. It's quiet enough for a conversation and nice enough to take someone special.

Great patio in the back. Quality drinks, but relatively limited selection. Atmosphere is perfect. Could be a great date spot...for a kinda dive-y bar.

It's hard to find a bar/restaurant in NYC where you can have a personal convo without other people hearing... this is one of those bars. Also, Mac and cheeeeese!!

Happy hour 2-for-1 is pretty great, make sure you use the tokens during happy hour otherwise you'll have to wait till next happy hour. LOVE the back garden&fountain!

Happy hour until 8pm, buy one get one drafts (good microbrews), wells and wines. And if you don't want 2 drinks, you can bring your token back some other time! Oh, and theres nice courtyard seating.

There's outdoor seating in the front and the back! Also, they'll make you an Irish coffee if you go next door to the Open Pantry and get the coffee.

BOGO happy hour until 8pm every day for draft and bottle beer selections. Try any of the Abita beers and get a side of dirt fries!

2 for 1 happy hour till 8 PM. Must try the plantaintions. Plantains filled with braised beef and onion straws. Damn good draft beer and wings too! Great patio.

Backyard is crowded at happy hour. Beer is buy on get one free but you can't double fist and you can't get one for a buddy free. Pretty douchy vibe.

Only fun if you can sit in the back garden (especially great on rainy days). Slightly upscale pub food and craft beer selection is fairly stellar!

Nice bar with good selection of beers. Food is decent and not expensive! $9.50 for a chicken sandwich or an avocado salad. The place is very lightly lit, with booth for some privacy.

Cute courtyard in the back complete with a fountain and ivy lining the walls. In the winter, avoid the tables with overhead heaters.

The chicken sandwich was just meh, but the patio out back is really nice and the sweet potato fries were some of the best I've had.

Abita amber and Rogue dead guy, 2 of my favorite beers on tap. Rustic hewn wood interior (tables, chairs, walls, pillars) is cool, yet cozy.

cute spot, but courtyard is way overrated. you're basically still indoors. The 2 for 1 drinks during happy hour is a great deal though.
