Elease SammsAgosto 12, 2014Honestly, this is one of the better beaches I've been to. It's quiet, not too crowded and the sand is soft on the feet. The water is the perfect temperature. I prefer this over Daytona Beach.

Crowded,but the hub Beachside. Food,rentals,plus my faveguy who has NOLA's own Zapp'sVoodoo.He has free sunscreen,sand removing stuff,&best,he knew I am a NOLA girl.And always compliments my bikini.;)- Best spot for local taverns/dining Beachside.Shopping galore,$$unless sales.Most will do layaway.I've acquired many topquality treasures with this trick; just ask! Parents tend to forget ppl drive down beach n kids run from hotel area to ocean or by cars down so keep eyes open n 10mph
