Colin PestingerFebbraio 1, 2012If you arrive early for your flight, don't go through security yet! Go upstairs to the airport bar. Sit outside. Watch the planes take off. Way sweet unlike anything I've been able to do @ any airport

Parking in the lot right across from the terminal is free for the first 30 min. Great for seeing people off.

Go upstairs on the balcony and watch planes arrive and take off.

The bar is great, which is a surprise for an airport.For short trips, try parking for free on Garden Rd.

Now featuring TSA Pre Check sortof. Still have to take laptop out but shoes stay on.
Don't expect much from the free WiFi (especially a reasonably speed connection).

Usually lots of weather delays to SFO, but other destinations fine
Flights to SFO from MRY are delayed 300 day a year on average. Connect elsewhere to get to and from MRY.
