Brian ChamowitzMaggio 10, 2014Place is real old school. All freshly cut meats (brisket, turkey, top round, ham). Build your own sandwich. Sit @ the counter & chat up a long-time DC resident or municipal worker. Very diverse crowd.

Can't go wrong with the brisket or top round. Open till 3pm on Saturday.
By far the best lunch spot in the hood. Brisket and mixed turkey are delicious. Get the honey mustard!
They close really early (6pm) but by far the best sandwich place around with super fresh ingredients and meats sliced right in front of you.
Best brisket sandwich in DC! Go for the horseradish, can't be beat.
Mixed Turkey is #ftw... favorite lunch spot on this side of town
Lunch is great and breakfast is pretty darn good too.
