The historic railway terminus was opened 1996 as the "Museum of the Present". International as well as contemporary art can be viewed on 13 000m2.
It's small, and no pictures allowed. However, it's a nice presentation on the history and concepts of Bauhaus. Get the audio-guide device.
This museum opposite the Charlottenburg Palace is home to historical works of modern art classics, which include those by Picasso, Giacometti, and Matisse. Opens at 10am, closed on Mondays.
