Regarding working here, it can be extremely hit or miss. Since it is on Broughton, you could always randomly have a huge group of tourists storm the place, making it impossible to concentrate
Probably THE best place to get coffee and work. Quiet atmosphere in the back room, tasty beverages and friendly service. Also makes for a good meeting place for work groups
With the sparse seating, it doesn't really make for a good work spot. If you get a seat at the "table" along the window front, it works though. But since it is a "grab-and-go" place, it's quite hectic
They don't seem too happy about people hanging around and working. Service wasn't too great either. But the atmosphere is alright to work in, just the right balance between lively and quiet.
While I love the outdoor seating, looking at the park, I cannot get anything done there. The atmosphere completely throws me off. I know it's popular and I had meetings there, but it's not for me
Works well for me on weekends for a later breakfast with bagel and chai, doing some reading in one of the comfier chairs. Other than that, it's usually too loud and hectic to actually work here.
Service was friendly and didn't mind me staying quite a while even after I had finished my drink. Worth an extra tip, especially the accessible outlets.
