LeanneAprile 18, 2015Fantastic place, very big and fairly well-connected. You can go on a long-haul trip somewhere or just fly on a European holiday.
1 hour for the security check in T3! The terminal is too small and overcrowded...

God help you if you're flying Emirates, Etihad or any other Asian subcontinent destination. Check on queues are crazy!

"the food village" is a rip off! £9 for a baguette, crisps and a water.
Some parts look very old. Airport needs a major refurbishment
This is a shit shit airport. A cm of snow and they close it. Then the air bridge doesn't work. Then the queue for passport control is a mile long. They've probably damaged my luggage too!
Extremely unhelpful emirates staff at check in.

The queues are ridiculous. Blame bad management, or bad planning.
Very few things, NO easy information, rude personal and no SAS Lounge!

So so bad. Every time I pass through, I feel embarrassed to be from Manchester. Drama every time.

Very good airport in all, well designed. Arrive super early though. Queues can get enormous by 8.15am for my usual US Airways check in
Nice airport, queues are always pretty fast, good facilities and nice views taking off and landing.
Epassport gates haven't been working for months. Pathetic.
Avoid if you can. Not enough security staff. Huge delays please complain in writing to Andrew Boyd. Email custonerrelations@manairport.co.uk
