I had never heard of a lamington until @flourandstone put one in my mouth. Vanilla spongecake covered in chocolate and coconut, and filled with panna cotta and berry compote.

Scallops, crab cake with maybe the best prawn I've had in Sydney thus far, tenderloin for mains, and the lemon curd pannacotta as the coup de grace. Excellent restaurant.

I had the best bday ever in China Doll. Booked 2 weeks in advanced and we tried the banquet for 2; $59 per person. It was amazeballs! All the food is very delicious you won't regret it. Great service!
