Heat/air doesn't work in my room. Will be talking with the front desk later. Friends here are not having any luck getting a good whirlpool suite in the pyramid either.

For spacious rooms, and optimal privacy, stay in the Tower. I prefer the East Tower.

Avoid the rooms the pyramid. Request an upgrade to one of the towers.

By the obelisk, outside the Luxor, face the hotel and you can get a shot of the sphinx with the pyramid in the background.

Try the early riser wrap. Service a bit slow, but this wrap was well worth it.

They charge a $35 resort fee per person when you arrive. Prepare for that when figuring in costs. Was just looking for a hotel close to the airport for a layover. :/

My room 11148 was humid and uncomfortable. I guess you can categorize the overall ambiance as "ghetto fabulous" with everyone trying to sell you on something. Stick to the Aria if you're in Vegas.

Yes this is the low end of the strip, but it seems like they don't even try. Our room was not clean when we checked in, the food overpriced for the money. Access to monorail is a pain. Don't bother.

Check out the Titanic exhibit. It's pricy but it's worth every penny.

about $20 a day resort fee and payed pool areas, no wonder they aren't full booked. nickel and dimeing people hurts business.

Luxor is awesome I definitely would stay again! 2 CONS: No safe in the room and no refrigerator in the room.

When it opened on October 15, 1993, the pyramid was the tallest building on the strip and took 2 years to build at a cost of $375 million.

if someone asks you to "tour" a local resort tell them to go kick rocks. it's a time share and the people are EXTREMELY RUDE!!!

Long wait at taxi stand on the strip. There's another at the North Entrance by the Excalibur walk way. Never a line.

Definitely a sight to see, but not a place to stay during your visit. Strip location isn't ideal, lack of in room wifi. Needs a major update.
