In 1985 the Standiford Art Foundation was created at Louisville International Airport. This lead to the placement of art and original commissions throughout the airport.

When flying before 8am get to the airport 1.5 hours before flight if using standard TSA lines

Best I can say about this airport is that is is functional, and it has planes. Dirty, dismal, needs a good cleaning and an update.

check out these neighborhoods..Nu Lou, Highlands, Norton Commons and take a drive out US42 or I64 towards Lexington to see beautiful horse farms.

Postage stamps can b purchased @NYTimes newstand b4 going thru security @only terminal. USPS mailbox is down the hall 2 the right thereof.

Charge things at the kiosks b/c each gate has maybe one outlet. Don't expect wifi or smiles. Just get in, get out.
