Overcrowded and wifi has strings attached. Train to London often standing room only and insufficient space for luggage.

Just because its called London Gatwick, doesn't mean its in London - its approx 30 miles to South London and 50 To Central London, Heathrow or London City are better options......

I dislike Gatwick airport with a passion. Poorly designed with too many low budget airlines. Overcrowded with shops, shops and more shops! Always try to stay away from Gatwick if possible.

The bathrooms in the arrivals area (south terminal) are hands down the cleanest airport bathrooms i have ever seen. Looked like a bathroom in a 4 star hotel. Im still shocked!

VAT refunds on the north terminal are relatively easy. No long queues and efficient staff.

Taxi tip. Never Ever take a taxi between Heathrow airport and Gatwick. Exorbitant price. Pure robbery. 160 £ .crazy.take the bus. Frequent service comfortable and MUCH cheaper.
