Takes 3 days of slow freezing in a $6k Clinebell machine to make the crystal clear ice here, 2 hours of prep for the ice alone goes into each shift. Respect!

Expensive cocktails served in a hidden speak-easy by men with Civil War beards. The only thing Slightly Off about this place is how Eerily On these guys are. Even the ice cubes are well read. - IFC St

The bar is already perfect, but on Sunday nights a small jazz trio fills the small underground room with piano, drums, and standup bass. Enjoy with their excellent libations.

Love this hidden gem. Very small and usually always packed. But they make some of the best drinks in NYC.

Felt like I was in an old 1920s movie, especially when I sighted the old type-cash register! Ordered the Bartender's Choice and got a delicious Blackberry Gold Rush out of the deal. Cash only!

This place is awesome. Let the bartender make you something custom - just tell them what you like (sour, sweet, bitter, etc) and they will create something delicious for you.

Cash only and very awkward space. Luckily the cocktails are excellent and if you can grab the booth by the piano - don't leave.

Superbly made drinks created by a team from the Milk & Honey family, an intimate setting complete with a piano, and it's underground.

A nice, relaxing lounge to grab a drink. Lines can be long on weekends but it's worth it, especially if you love a classic jazzy atmosphere.

Amazing cocktails. You might have to wait outside, but it's worth it. If you're overwhelmed by the menu, let the bartender help you decide. They definitely know their stuff.

Try the following: Monte Carlo - manly rancher whiskey drink, Kentucky Maid - slightly more fruity whiskey drink, fernet branca and applejack thing (forget the name), stay up late (gin and cognac)

Little Branch is still a standard-bearer for the well-crafted cocktails in a whimsically serious place but w/ diminished service at the tables, grab a seat by the bar (still has free pretzels, tho)
