A fun town to visit for a day or two. Most of Salem’s Witch history has been removed and now it’s a bunch of corny museums. Note: Not many public restrooms and long lines for the few that you find.
As long as the line is not that long, worth checking out this piece of history.
Amazing sandwiches that are huge! The Patriot sandwich was amazing. They also have amazing homemade bread that they use. Definitely a great lunch spot. Highly recommend. Very limited seating.
Comfy beds and lots of pillows—what more can you ask for? The breakfast buffet is also surprisingly good.
Really nice theatre it very strange layout having you go through a furniture store to get in and out of the place. Get there early as there is no assigned seating.
Fuddruckers has gotten a lot better and is making a nice, welcome, comeback. Only problem I have with this location is that they don’t do the bottomless fries. Otherwise, really good.
You can’t go wrong with one of their Stuffed French Toasts at this eclectic joint. All the portions are big, so come hungry. Place can only seat about 40, so get ready for a wait. Cash only!
I do love there bagels and always friendly service. They have something for everyone at this New York Style Bagel joint.
Really like the food here with lots of wonderful Italian dishes. Would highly recommend you try the Italian Sausage Soup. Skip the Chicken Parmesan, however, as is it is one of the more bland dishes.
Probably the best Pad Thai in Northern Jersey and they even have vegetarian and vegan options of this dish. Love this place.
Brussel Sprouts and Rigatoni are must-tries. Both are excellent dishes and are prepared amazingly.
Fun college crowd with good bar food. Try their grilled cheese flights or their giant Bloody Mary.
Comfy rooms and beds and there continental breakfast is actually pretty good.
There’s not many of these places left so it’s worth stopping here. They are still the best doughnuts around.
Famous for being the Sopranos last filming spot, this place has a lot of NJ nostalgia. The ice cream is what you come here for. Skip the food, which is mediocre, and try a banana spilt instead.
A bit trendy, but a fun place to stay in midtown. Get your hands on The Fever Tree Ginger ale that they have at the bar. Some of the best I’ve ever had.
Love the fresh guacamole that they make right at the table. Skip the traditional dishes like the burritos and try the Molcajete.
You can’t go wrong with burgers here. For a chain, they do a good job and use fresh ingredients. Love all the sauces you can put on your burger.
Artichoke pizza is what you come here for, and it is good. The 3 slices for 18 is the way to go if you want to try different slices. They cut them in half and the size is more than enough for two.
Although they are a little bit pricy, the food is great and worth it. Everything is huge and sharable. Must try the omelettes or a side of their thick cut bacon.
Great prices and unique Blends for all your Asian cooking. Stay away from the meat section, however.
Really like this place, but I have to say Verona Park is cleaner and full of less people.
Really great ice cream and lots of flavors, but I would skip their chocolate-chip cookie dough—not enough cookie dough.
