- Mazemen is a delicious alternative if you aren't in the mood for broth. The satay-like sesame purée with rayu chili oil make a great sauce. I love adding in garlic oil as well. Ajitama is essential!
- Ajitama (soy sauce seasoned egg) is an ESSENTIAL topping for any ramen! Plop on top of noodles, slice open with chopsticks, and let the yolk flow! Don't mix it in, just let it sit on top as you eat.

- The Kakuni Pork Bun: thick slice of rich braised pork sitting in fluffy bun that melts in your mouth. Don't you dare remove that slab of fat, or you'll be missing the point entirely.
- Great food and great staff make at this an amazing addition to Providence! Grab seat at the bar and have a chat with the line cooks as they prepare the best bowl of ramen you can get in Rhode Island!
- Spicy Miso Ramen: your fave Paitan Ramen with thick cut noodles + a golfball of spicy miso plopped on top! Mix into your broth with an Ajitama and you get rich goodness with a serious kick!
- Linda SongAgosto 1, 2015The tsukemen and mazamen are delicious and different takes on ramen compared to what you'd get at your typical ramen joint in the states. I'm iffy on the Tsukemen, but definitely enjoyed the Mazamen.
- Get the Tsukemen for a different ramen experience! The thicker noodles come out with lime for you to dip into an extra thick and rich broth. Heavenly. Don't forget the Ajitama!
- The Hiyashi Chuka ramen is the PERFECT lunch for a hot day! Chilled noodles in a sweet, mildly spicy sauce leave you feeling happy and refreshed!
- The Mazemen is a thicker noodle with a sweeter, tangier, light broth and a thick peanut sauce. A nice change of pace from the standard bowl of ramen!
- LanceOttobre 18, 2014Supreme Ra-Yu (homemade chili sauce) and Ajitama (marinated soft boiled egg) are excellent add-ons. The Ra-Yu is really spicy so expect a real kick if you added all of it.

- The dirty rice dishes are very unique. This was my first time trying uni (sea urchin) and it loved it with the rice!

- Max ZaleskiAgosto 21, 2016Ken's had limited seating (only four tables), so there was a long wait. The ramen at Ken's is lackluster; when compared to the ramen at Ippudo.
- Do NOT order any ramen without an Ajitama! It will improve the quality of your life.
