Super DadAprile 6, 2017Plenty of parking at Reverchon park! Direct access to Katy Trail. The "Ice House" is less than 1/2 a mile away from Reverchon. Water fountains throughout Trail (even for dogs). Great people watching!
- Robyn HarmanSettembre 9, 2018Perfect spot in the city for a run or walking your dog. It's about 6 or 7 miles if you go out and back. You can stop at the Katy Trail Icehouse for a bite to eat or cold beverage during your trek.

Not ideal for cycling due to shortness of trail and congestion (walkers, dogs, strollers,etc) and narrowness of trail. Much safer and can get better cycling workout at White Rock Lake.

Easy access to and from Knox Street shops and restaurants
- Public entrance onto Katy Trail. Well lit at night and great for people watching during the day!

Love to jog this trail, visit parks off of it, and to eat at the Katy Trail Ice house.
Get the best view of Dallas down by the AAC there's a perfect view of victory park!
Joseph RotenMarzo 6, 2013Stop and check out these lights along the trail. They have motion sensors and each makes a different sound as you pass. Way cool.
This is almost exactly the midpoint of the trail, so it's about a 3.5 mile round trip in either direction.

Beautiful, well kept trail for bicyclists, runners, and walkers.- Look for the parrots near Knox crossing- they've built a huge nest in electrical towers and are often flying about if you stop and look!

If you can't jog around white rock lake then this is s nice second option.

Remember your water, hat,sunscreen n bug spray. If you have pets bring water for them aswell.
Great place to run with motivation in front of you at all times! Nice trail also!
I been running there since it used to be train tracks. It has come a long way... The community has put a lot of effort in the project...

David DotsonOttobre 25, 2012If going north to south, remember the trail has a long gentle slope, so the way back north will be an uphill slog.
After your run stop by Katy Ice House for a beer or the french bistro Toulouse if you wanna go fancier.
Love this place so much. Grab your shoes and go for a run! Post-run Starbucks is right up the street!

Park at the AAC and start from the very beginning! It's exactly 3.5 miles one way and easier to track mileage versus beginning in the middle.

Don't be a Trail Hog Plse be aware of how much space you're taking up and try to keep Kids by your side
Honestly no better place to bike in Dallas. If you get on anywhere S of Knox, you never have to hit a stop sign. A lot of runners out too.
