A truly moving and brilliantly produced museum packed with things to learn (& remember) but in an interactive and artful way that brings history to life quite powerfully. Recommend for ages 7+.
If there's a production on when you're in town--check it out; always high quality and often some new/innovative productions. A nice companion to a visit to the High Museum.

Two friendly ladies from Buckhead with great taste in art and antiques run this place. They sometimes host openings with great artists, wine, cheese, etc--reasonable prices for some gorgeous art.
Gorgeous leafy campus in Decatur--great place for a fall stroll, and you will recognize it from the many movies and films shot on campus. Short walk to Decatur square with great dining.
Great bar, design, service. Ideal for a loud fun group dinner (not so much a date night)--the tomahawk ribeye to share (med rare) was absolute perfection. Extensive wine list or BYOW for $25 corkage.
