Beautiful Victorian pub with a large selection of real ales across two bars, and an outdoors terrace on the 1st floor. The first port of call for thirsty Southerners stepping out of Birmingham New St!
Great cocktail establishment upstairs, superb British restaurant downstairs - a must do when in London.
The St Clements cake (lemon/lime) and flat white are great, as is the general ambience with floor to ceiling windows in the heart of town.
Anything with the spicy 'Shark sauce' works for me ... this burger bar is an Oxford institution beloved by generations of students.
Welcoming and cosy pub with well kept real ales, and a roaring fire on cold nights. Slightly gentrified crowd, but glad this traditional boozer is pulling in punters still.
My favourite local. Great selection of real ales, footy, British expats, and crazy Swedes.
