Stop by to see George Washington's former dock. This is where he did his fishing. Beautiful views of the Potomac. Read the plaques for more info on his fishing industry.
Lots of interesting things to see here. Give yourself between 30 minutes and an hour to see everything in the vault.
Everyone tries to form a line to the left and work their way around. Do not be fooled into this. It is a free for all with no lines. Walk up to the document you want to see and then back off.
Sometimes there are really long lines to see the declaration of independence. Go early or before closing. Everyone overlooks the Magna Carta on the 2nd floor. Way older and less crowds around it.
Good butter burgers. Average fries. Pretty good frozen custard. Don't forget an order of fried cheese curds as an appetizer.
Believe it or not, the Italian beef is not very good here. No where close to the taste of portillos. Italian sausage and gyros are good here. Get your fries seasoned. Don't forget the cheese for fries
One of my favorite pizza places on the south side. Great thin crust pizza with tasty sauce. Try a sausage and mild giardiniera pizza for the best tasting combo. Go up to hot giardiniera for a kick.
The sauce is amazing. Be sure to get an extra one or else you will run out. Get 4 tenders if you are hungry. Get 6 if really hungry. Fries are just average. Coleslaw is pretty good as well.
Phenomenal food. Try a calamari or fish taco. Fries are cooked in sesame oil so it gives them a great taste. Also try a taco from the special limited time menu. Skip the pulled pork taco.
Good place for a concert in the south suburbs. Get there early for free parking or else you will be stuck in traffic. Bring a blanket for the lawn seats as the grass can get chewed up after rain.
Gyros combo special. Best on the menu for under $7. Gyro is over stuffed and a order of fries is huge. Splurge and get a cup of cheese for the fries. Pass on the burgers. All bun and no meat.
Pretty good prices for the meat platters. Choose a meat and two, three, or four sides. Two different hummus counts as one. Rice is really good. Braised lamb is very good and cooked to perfection.
Get there early for the free tickets because they sell out for the day on a first come first serve basis really quick.
Great fried and grilled chicken. 1/2 chicken and unlimited sides for under $15. The unlimited sides are just as tasty. Place is BYOB so don't forget your drink. Try the chicken with honey on table.

A must visit when in DC or Virginia. Beautiful gardens and daily demonstrations of what life was like in the 1700s. Lots to see between the house, museum, and the tomb. Different every season.
Good food. Try the Lebanese sample plate as your meal. Lots of food to try for a good price. Their beef shwarma is better than their chicken in my opinion. Sit out on the patio on a nice day.
Pretty good pizza here at a good price. Check out the pizza buffet as it is the best option when available. Decent selection of on tap brews. Stop in for a hockey game. Not many hockey bars in DC/VA.
Get a protein bowl with a tortilla on the side. Good choices of salsa at the bar. Tasty guacamole. Just like Chipotle but with more options for meat. Free parking on site.
Nice breakfast diner spot. Don't bother with the biscuits and gravy, they are bland. Do choose an omelet and potatoes. Free parking behind the building so don't waste your money at a meter.
Sit outside in back if nice. The eggs with chorizo are delicious. Decent omelets and the chilaquiles are amazing. Try an oatmeal shake. You will thank me after. Lots of pay street parking available.
Get there early to get a seat. Sit on the north side of the pool because the south side is in the shade after 1PM. 21 and up only.
Two hot dog special for lunch. Get them char style and fully loaded. Yum. Great deal for less than $6.50. Earlier lunch is better because the lunch rush starts at about noon.
Get the fried fish sandwich. My favorite thing on the menu. You won't be disappointed. Wash it down with a cold beer. Going for lunch? The earlier the better due to small seating area.
Place is always packed. Whether you're looking for a pool, nightclub, shopping, gambling, or entertainment, they really have it all. Disappointed in the smaller sportsbook and no more pussy cat dolls.
Scottish salmon was really good and tasty. Shepard pie was OK but pricey for the small portion. Must get the sticky pudding dessert. Absolutely amazing. It was the best part of our meal.
This place looks nothing like the old imperial palace. Eat at guy fieri's restaurant. Enjoy a drink in the sports lounge. I will definitely be staying once the construction is done.
Love this place. Decent prices for gourmet hamburgers compared to other burger places in Vegas. The lamb burger is good, so is le bleu. Skip the fries and get the flaming cheeto onion ring instead.
Way overpriced compared to the white castles in the Midwest. Expect long lines and to pay over $1.20 per slider. Not a full menu like other white castles as well.
