- Shari FoxFebbraio 4, 2015Get a room on the river side for great views. No valet - parking is across the street about a half block, so if it's winter, be prepared to walk out into the wet snow to get into the hotel.Votato positivo 3 settimane fa
- Sarah NickMarzo 16, 2014Be sure to book a room with a river view or you will be disappointed the whole time. We upgraded after the first night as our first room hadn't been renovated yet and did not make us feel clean.
- There's a nice big pool on the 16th floor. Go through the pool and to the left is a good sized gym. Free filtered water is available here along with 5 treadmills, 5 ellypticals, & lotsa weights.
- shiftyAprile 26, 2014The ledge is handy for setting your drink while you fight with the key card. Just don't knock it off onto people's heads below!
- Daniel RichterNovembre 6, 2015big awesome lobby and cozy rooms. everything's clean and comfortable. wifi is not that good unfortunatly! prices are okay. great view from the streetside/seaside.
- The perfect city rendezvous point for day meetings. A covered, somewhat in-door train platform and heaps of venues to choose from for a drink or meal.
- Ask for a room facing the water. The view is beautiful. The beds aren't recommended for ppl with bad backs but the staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect if you are doing business in merch mart.
- Cheryl BrownMarzo 8, 2012Arugula salad a little too minimalist, but the grilled chicken was tasty! Tomato basil soup was good with these wonderful artisan crackers from a local bakery
- Sarah RavelyFebbraio 10, 2013Bring your own pillow! The pillows suck! Other than that, beautiful view, comfy bed, nice bathroom. Didn't like that we had to jump on a couple different elevators to get to check-in and then our room
- Emmanuel FreconNovembre 16, 2012Ask for river view and at the top. Warning, the ac / heating is loud and the fan turns on from time to time at night.
- Stayed on the 20th floor Sun-Sat & I had to go down to the lobby to get a decent solid WiFi connection. My Verizon stayed on 1X almost the whole time. Rooms are decent, halls need to be updated.
- Wonderful spot with a wonderful view. I have a tip: TIP THE BELLMAN AND DOORMAN!!!
- Outstanding views of the Chicago River and downtown.
- Stevyn GummMarzo 16, 2012King size rooms have a pull out sofa bed so it's like 2 beds for the price of one...ask for a view...totally worth it.
- This Holiday Inn is really located across the street from the world famous Merchandise Mart! Location, location, location!
- Sarah NickMarzo 16, 2014No fridge in rooms - $25 a night extra for one brought up. Can get food reheated though at the basement restaurant or front desk. Pillows are awful. No hot tub. Beautiful views and new renovations!
- Réjane TFebbraio 25, 2011Spacious and clean rooms, one queen room w/ a couch can easily accommodate ten drunken college kids.
- Ask for the top floor with a view of the river. Beautiful!
- The automatic faucets in the women's rest room are infuriating.
- You must try their Miso Glazed Salmon and Lobster Risotto!!!
- They are remodeling rooms and they are fantastic!!!
- Third day in a row they turned of the water starting at 7am. Rooms are not cleaned well and the "AC" is just ridiculus
- There is a Skybridge to the Merchandise Mart on the 2nd floor.
- Luz AlvarezSettembre 16, 2014Muy mala idea pedir las habitaciones cerca de la máquina de hielo y las máquinas de refrescos, se escucha hasta cuando eligen la bebida que quieren
- Do NOT get a room on the 16th floor. You'll hear the banquet room music until 2am thumping away.
- great hotel layout. swanky bar. great view of Chicago. terrible bed (too firm) 3 out of 5
- Multigrain pancakes weren't good. I switched them out for reg ones & those were bad too!
- Kelly AlcornGennaio 29, 2014Poor amenities for Platinum IHG status. At Platinum status would expect complimentary breakfast like the last 100+ holiday inns I stayed at in the past year.
- John BurnsNovembre 18, 2011Get your Internet code while checking in. Saves time on calling down later.
- Don't bother requesting early check-in, we waited 2+ hours after being told it would be 30-40 minutes. Not a great way to spend our first half day in Chicago!
