Very nice hotel! Updated, maid staff are excellent, bar and cafe are excellent. Very close to the metro and museums would stat again.

Visiting museums and sights in DC? This hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance of the Smithsonian museums, national mall and all major attractions. L'enfant metro station is also near.

If your room is in the back half of the hotel, be sure to use the secret elevator over by Capital Bistro. Cuts a lot of time off of your walk.

great location n friendly staff :) walking distance to national mall! nice clean room, I can see they did some renovations recently :) but train track right next to the hotel;;;

Pros: Walking distance from the Smithsonian. 2 restaurants, rooftop pool, clean, recently renovated rooms. Cons: parking is $45 per day plus tax and tax is 18% for parking. Food is overpriced.

Rooms are clean but chilly (72 is a little cool for me) also wish they had a complementary continental breakfast.

Take an early train to DC and get of at LEnfant Plaza. Good taxi stand at Holiday Inn on 6th st. Can save time over Union Station

Good price, but beware that the train is right next door and you can hear the bells at night. Ask to be on opposite side!

It's an older hotel but it is still nice. Alitte pricey but you are only a block away from the DC Mall. Would stay here again.

The first time staying here..... great location best people in 21st ...best bartender...really takes care of everyone! This is what I miss about DC!

If there is a band at 21st amendment, you can hear them loud and clear on the 1st and second floor. Don't plan on sleeping during happy hour

Moderately priced for a weekend getaway stay. Walked all the way from Union Station.. mad, took a taxi on the way back. Convenient walking distance from the sights.

Accidentally got a smoking room here - the stench was awful. Other than that, quite ok place. The best thing about is awesome location few blocks from the Capitol.

This is right by the National Mall, the Capitol, the Botanical Gardens, and the Smithsonian. Great location.

The people who cleaned our rooms never gave us bar soap for the bathroom and left the trash bags for us to put in the trash can ourselves

Avoid staying here if you can. But if you can't, at least stay on a lower floor and avoid the sounds of the trains that go by in the middle of the night.
