I spend a lot of time here... not a bad place to get stuck at. Everything is great from the deltalounges to all the fab restaurants and last minute shops. Great job ATL!
Ja nicht den Überblick hier verlieren!!! Und tut euch selber einen Gefallen, nehmt den Zug zur Gepäckausgabe, der Weg zu Fuß, ist nach dem langen Sitzen gut, aber eine halbe Weltreise...
Need a quiet escape in the world's busiest airport? An exhibition of 20 massive Zimbabwe Shona carvings sits between A and T gates. This one is my favorite.
Designed by Thom Filicia in collaboration with Architectural Digest, SkyDeck overlooks the runway and lets Medallion members and other VIPs sip cocktails while watching the planes land.
Park at Peachy Airportparking (Groupon usually has 50% off deals for indoor and outdoor lots)! It's convenient and they even offer a free car wash for when you get back!
Go to terminal a and pick up chick fil A and a bourbon and grab a seat by the piano man. He plays till 8pm and will melt away your travel stress. Don't forget to leave him a tip!
For to Xpress Spa in A or C. They have massage chairs and do great manicures. Get your coffee and head in to veg if you are stuck in Atlanta. I like the mani-pur. Enjoy, friends. :-)
If you have time and want to watch planes, Concourse E and F have the most widebodies. Upstairs in the center of Concourse A (next to PF Changs) also has a decent ramp view.
If you have a long layover go to Buckhead Books in concourse B and get a table by the window. Then you can make swooshy jet noises as you watch the planes take off.
Thank you, @Delta for giving a girl a ride when @United left me STRANDED in Atlanta and kept my $352 when they locked the doors 10 minutes early on UA 6100 today.
Things run so efficiently here in Atlanta. Airport is updated and clean. Concourse E has a food court. You can take the PlaneTrain or walk between concourses.
La fila para documentar es larguisima tomen la opción de documentar digital es algo más rapida. La salida para rentar un carro es la puerta A2 y deben de tomar el bus que los llevará hasta allá gratis
One of my least favorite airports. Lots to do and some good eats, but always feeling rushed to get from one plane to the next doesn't allow much time to enjoy. Plan long layovers to experience it.
If you're in the E terminal and need a drink or snack, try the Piano Bar and enjoy the peacefulpiano music that almost makes you forget you are at the airport.
ATL is the worlds largest volume airport but you wouldn’t know it based on its smooth operations. Many F & B options and retail to choose from. Enjoy your time in my hometown airport!
Large airport hub is very busy but efficient at getting you where you need to go. Train between terminals is a very good people mover. Lots of places to eat and relax between flights.
Been in Atlanta for 3 yrs and been here hell lot of times!! One of the biggest! Lot of food options! Always busy! Lot of memories at this place!! Expect long queues for security check!
here is a little taste of what Atlanta has to offer.. they don't drink the cool aid here.. they drink the good stuff - sweet tea with a little spike of moonshine!
As a regular, I <3 my hometown airport. Security is considerably quick and efficient compared to others. The train is fast going to all terminals. Great dining, drinking and shopping options.
The best (and only) tasty food is in the new Terminal F. The tacos at food-truck themed El Taco are awesome, and cheap. Totally worth the trip out there. The only place in ATL that i'll eat at!!
It's a very logical airport do don't let it's size daunt you. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in terminal e do not miss One Flew South for a cocktail and a great bite to eat!
Very clear and easy to travel between terminals, by train if you're short on time, and even better by walking/moving sidewalks. One of my favorites - largely for this reason.
Stop by this weekend 14st and Spring st for Red Bull Raising the Bar w XGames Gold Medal Champ Ronnie Renner practice blasting over 35' in the air over a high bar. Free to everyone. 7/26 and 7/27 6pm
Free WiFi, just sign up with your mail address. Something to eat? Try Panda Express. If you are not in hurry, walk between terminals instead the train, some times you can find nice artexhibitions.
Atlanta airport may be modern & high tech but the check-in, gates,& baggage claim are miles apart so in that you have to be transported by train. You must arrive early & ask personnel for assistance.
I will specifically look for 2+ hour layovers during normal restaurant hours to allow tie to visit One Flew South in E. Exceptional cocktails, delicious cocktails, and wonderful staff. Go there.
Experiencing long delays this summer thanks to weather? Get away from the crowds in the main domestic Concourses (T, A, B, C, D) and take the train to Concourse E or F for a much calmer/quieter time!
Terminal B has great stuff! Including Savannah candy kitchen in case you need a caramel apple or praline before you fly out! (Or, for sweet tooth family members.)
Really impressed with the size and scale of this airport. Keep an eye on the signs and you'll stay on the right path. Really pleased with Delta's service and there are plenty of food options!
Great airport with good food and shop options. Major issues with wifi, it is simply not available for general surfing. which kind of defeats the purpose. Hope that changes soon. I heard it will.
If you're flying Delta out of Atlanta, it's easier to fly out of the International terminal. You can check in for domestic or International flights on that side for Deltaflights ONLY
There's lots of restaurants, bars, and shops each of them different in each of the terminals. They have these interesting water dispensers for bottles.
If you're walking thru the terminal as part of a group of five or more people, try to walk side by side so that you obstruct the aisle. That's a great way to demonstrate courtesy and self awareness.
If you have a long layover, it's worth it to make the trek to Concourse E and eat & drink at One Flew South restaurant. One of the best airportrestaurants in the country.
If you have to make connections in another concourse, you gotta take the underground "PlaneTrain" to get there because the concourses are all separate from the main terminal.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport proudly bears the distinction of being the world’s busiest and most efficient airport and has served as a valuable hub connecting various cities and countries around the globe.
