Interesting to see how rich people used to live. The museum is pretty small but interesting. The shop offers postcards, puzzles and the usual things.
It is a pretty good Burger you can have here. I tried big Kahuna and the House's Burger. Both are tasty. It can tale 20 minutes to get s Burger but It is worth it. Nice staff.
You can have a special view by walking over the Danube between the castle and the parliament. First permanent bridge of the city.
One of the biggest place and good even for huge group of people. They accept credit cards and the prices are reasonable.
It is good place for eating, drinking and sunbathing. Once I did dragon boat competition there.
Its quality is probably not behind of the Pekmuhely at next door. Not so busy and you can usually find something you like.
So the place and the sortiment is pretty good for reasonable price. The only concern is that the bakery is a Fornetti (not so healthy food).
Standard Nespresso shop with usually not long waiting queues. The staff is nice but they are the less smiley type;)
Lángos büfé is a must. A Sajtos offers a unique sortiment of cheeses. It is probably one of the most expensive markets on Buda side. Cards are accepted at half of the places.
It is the best bakery of the neighborhood but too many people know about it;). Busy on Saturdays.
So this is a good option if you want to enjoy the sandy beach with no music and party. No food is available beside the people who bring fruits for 3€. You can walk into the water for few 100m.
No turtles and partying British youngsters. It is more for relaxing with few good options for food.
This is a real scenic view of the island but you might need to rent a car or a bigger scooter/quad in order to reach the top of the hill.
The best place we have tried in Kalamaki. We tried two starters and two main dish based on lamb and everything was a way better than anything had tried here.
So the burgers are okay and the staff is nice. I tried the Moszkva square burger with their elderberry syrup and beside the bread everything was okay.
Place is good for watching football games. Good value both to eat and drink.
There is lunch menu for 1550HUF. Pad Thai is also good. Not the biggest portion but delicious.
This is not a $$ place;). But good sashimi and once I tried the menu including 8 courses and everything was delicious.
Stuff is getting more aggressive since the temple was built. Nice ginger drink and sitting outside is pretty cool.
I do not really recommend the smoked cheese version. Maybe because it is odd for me. Go for the standard sour cream cheese garlic combinations.
