A dive bar must! Cheap drinks, great juke. Walk-in, stumble out. Great people watching. They get a lot of spill over traffic from the Pantages before, intermission and after shows...that kinda suck

You could easily pass this place by in the hurlyburly of Hollywood's fanfare. Don't. An undercurrent of authenticity crackles with the promise of stiff affordable drinks and unpretentious discourse.

Some of the charm is lost after they switched to a digital jukebox, but this place is still like jumping into a very cool time machine. Reasonable prices for the heart of Hollywood, too.

Featured in 311's Frolic Room & rumored to have been a speakeasy during prohibition for performers/guests at the Pantages Theatre (ask to see the stairs,) this is the last true bar on Hollywood Blvd.
