Seriously impressive and inventive cocktail list. Everything with gin and egg whites was fantastic. Good and affordable late night food options too: steak tartare. Great date spot.

Grab a seat at the bar for drinks or dinner. The bartenders are fantastic -- and incredibly nice. Don't be afraid to let them whip up something of their own creation. They always seem to get it right.

Great atmosphere!!! Got a table late at night, I had the lobster appetizer n my friend had the Cod picture here which just melted in your mouth. Old fashion was great and Bread pudding was fantastic!!

Staff here is the best in Boston. Oysters are always fresh, food is always delicious and service is always impeccable. Their cocktail menu is extensive, as is their wine list. ESDK is always my go-to.

Really amazing service. I have a gluten allergy and wanted the Charcuterie and some Cheese. They were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions and serve me what I wanted. Yummy espresso martini!

the drinks, food, ambiance, &service are bomb. Baked rigatoni is awesome, can’t go wrong with the calamari, & the charcuterie board is a must. For drinks: Apium Daquiri, Whiskey Smash, & Corio Coupe.

My cocktail was a special from the server - uh-mazing! The bread pudding dessert has apparently been on the menu for the past 9 years & for good reason...It's soft & scrumptious w/ a crisp top - yes!

Great comfort food with an even better craft cocktail menu. Metamorphosis is an awesome off menu selection with Becherovka, honey syrup and lemon juice

Neat place for some good wine and food during the day or night. Comfortable atmosphere, almost feels like you're in Great Gatsby. Oysters are amazing. But definitely go for the VEAL!

Eastern Standard is out of this world. While the plates are a little pricey for brunch, it's a nice splurge every once in a while. I often go for the cheddar omelette or the French toast.

The calamari was perfectly cooked. The flat iron steak was more medium than medium rare, but still tender and juicy. No sauce needed. The butterscotch bread pudding was great too.

The best restaurant in Boston. Killer wine list, amazing cocktails & huge beer selection. Food is always top notch. Especially the late night menu on the mirror.

Outdoor seating available. Great place to hang out on a summers night for some drinks/apps and to do some people watching. Love the frisée salad with poached egg. Warm gooey goodness.

If you book a private dining room, be warned that it's only semi-private. Other guests share the room. But get the carrot cake with fruit spread. HUGE and delicious

Good beer list as well as good cocktails. Food is really good as well. During Sox games bar gets crowded.

My favorite restaurant in Boston! New? Try the frisée aux lardones salad, ceviche and/or steak tartare...also the whiskey smash is arguably the best menu drink in Boston. Enjoy!

One of the best meals you will ever have, hands down. I have never had a bad experience here. A bit pricey at times, but there are less expensive options on the menu.

Great place for a cocktail made right. Bartenders are top notch. Leave your beer requests at home. Don't even think of wasting a night out ordering suds you can get down the street

I love this place, especially the bar! Last time there had the Corio Coupe - named after a Boston legend of burlesque days. Also had fabulous oysters, frisee salad & steak tartare.

If you like cocktails and killer rustic fare like roasted bone marrow or steak tartare- this is your place. If you are lucky, Jackson one of the best bartenders in the U.S. Will make you a drink.

Try an Old Cuban (rum, lime, simple syrup, mint, bitters, and bubbles). The smack of the mint leaf to release the oils onto the rim is fun bar theater.

It's hard to go wrong with any and all drinks at ES (on *or* off the menu) but I especially love the 20th Century martini...makes me want to shout: "Bond. James Bond". You only live twice after all.

Is it warm out? Order a glass of Commanderie de Peyrassol still rosé; incredibly refreshing and light, it's one of the best offered in the city. Drink!
