    If you are an aspiring actor in NYC, go to Dodge Hall at Columbia. It's the arts building. There are bulletin boards in the stairwells that have casting calls.

    Sit on the steps outside the library. Great place to relax and watch people go by. Alma Mater statue also here on campus.

    When Allen Ginsberg had his mystic vision in the Columbia Bookstore it was located in the basement of Journalism. It’s since become a Barnes and Noble and moved to the basement of Lerner.
