Cell reception is terrible at the central terminal but if you move out towards the gates it gets better!

Arrive earlier than you would normally think for Midway. The security lines are longer these days.

e-check in! General security doesn't support reader & you get to check in separate from masses w/ employees. Also no microwave scanner here.

Don't expect the Fly By Lane to get you through security faster. When you round that corner, you'll realize the line is 2x as long as the others and they only have 1 or *at most* 2 screening lanes. :(

When going through security stay to the left. The lines to the right take much longer. They wrap around.

Expert traveller security line doesn't work well if you pool that line with strollers & wheel chairs...need to rethink that one.
