Avocado melt is really good. I think next time though I will omit the tomato. Substitute sweet potato fries for regular fries if you wish, they're delicious.

Famous LA Deli open 24 hours. Has a bar, full menu including latkes and blintzes. The retro interior is great.

You're at an LA institution! Canter's made an appearance in the movie Swingers. The guys drive by the exterior on their caravan from the Beautiful Babies party in the hills to The Dresden.

The fruit was so fresh! Had mango, peach, grapefruit, orange, strawberry, watermelon, honey dew. Cantaloupe, pineapple, and grapes!! What a delight!

Famous deli. Swing by and grab a sandwich to go, or sit and stay awhile. Insanely friendly staff who really know their trade.

Had the turkey pastrami on gluten free bread. It was probably the best gluten free read I've had. Hook it up.

Pastry section only: 30 min free parking for deli purchase. Everything is old fashioned and very sweet. Poppy seed strudel was too sweet to eat a bite.. Not my ally.

Ok..Canters is my favorite LA deli, that said, the fruit cup is ridiculous. Seriously, anyone who appreciates fruit must get one. Better than anywhere else in LA.
