The ambience is amazing. Cozy and lively. Very nice bar tenders and cozy couches. Spent a while here on New Year's Eve. Great Scottish whiskey and scotch cocktails that look ok but taste good.

AUTHENTIC neighborhood bar. Excellent service, I feel like I'm part of the family even though I'm not from Scotland! They have THE BEST selection of scotch as well as other cocktails! Ask for Michael!

A very small and cozy bar with a great selection of scotches and awesome bartenders. Make sure you check out the back, and snag one of the very comfortable leather club chairs.

This is a great scotch place. If you're going to get a beer, get innis & gunn. Fantastic local with an inner circle of long term clientele who drink from bespoke chalices...

Is that warm and cozy feeling the whisky, the ambience or the witty bartenders? Probably all of the above. Great beer, wine, cocktails and whisky tastings. And Mike's jokes are better after 10pm.

Dark, cozy and unpretentious. Impressive selection of beers and scotch. Snag the comfy couches in the back and relax to some great tunes.

If you're in a beer mood, i'd order an Innis and Gunn. If you're in a whisky mood, i'd order Laddie 10. If you're in a cocktail mood, i'd order Islay Old Fashioned. But that's just me. Cale. Drink up.

Check out trivia night on Mondays, it's an education and includes comp. whiskey tastings! And when you're not sampling whiskey, you should be drinking Belhaven.

Ask the Scottish bartender for a recommendation here, they aren't snobby. Big leather couches, an intimate atmosphere, and low music make this a good place for conversation.

If the Penrose is too crowded for you this is where you should be. Still high brow, but less pretentious. Very relaxed environment.
