Definitely worth a visit, it's interesting and with a unique concept. But if you have kids with you, read the exhibits before letting them read as there are a couple with references to BDSM, etc.
Really fun unique museum - the exhibits elicit a mix of emotions - some made me laugh out loud and others were terribly tragic. Definitely worth a visit if you have an hour to spare!
See the thought-provoking Museum of Broken Relationships (brokenships.com), a bizarre collection of objects illustrating the tragic-comedy that is love - one of Zagreb’s most visited museums.
Entrance fee: 30kn, Was drawn to the uniqueness of the theme, there's an emotional true story behind each item in the exhibit. Worth taking a look and spread the positivity :)
Une claque dans la tronche. Unique. Intriguant. Bouleversant. Drôle aussi parfois. Élu meilleur musée européen et musée le plus innovant en 2011, à visiter au moins une fois dans votre vie.
Something for everyone here. There are moments while reading the descriptions that you might want to cry or laugh. Use the student discount if you have a school ID.
I liked it 'cause i love interesting stories of people's lives. This museum is not a just another one. However i would like the exhibition to have different forms (movie, interviews, audio, etc).
Really interesting and way different from other museums I've been to. It's worth visiting. I alao recommend gettibg their book with additional stories.
Absolutely beautiful, a must see when in Zagreb! Really touches on the common experiences of desire, loss and everything associated with broken relationships of all kinds.
40 kn for entrance tickets. Recommend going earlier in the day, at night there's loudmusic playing right outside so it's hard to concentrate on reading in the last room which has it's windows open.

Originally a travelling exhibition, it picked up so many objects along the way that it finally was permanently installed here in 2010 - and named Most Innovative Museum in Europe the very next year. Leggi tutto
Very happy we went here during our short visit to Zagreb. A poignant look at all those feelings we have throughout a relationship. A must-see while in town.
Cannot miss while in Zagreb. Ask for student discount if you're a student. This museum makes something beautiful out of something sad like broken relationships. First time I cry at a museum.
One of a kind. Read stories of failed relationships, accompanied by donated relics: a toilet paper hanger, a champagne cork, a garden gnome. Be prepared to laugh, to cry, to introspect.
It's a very interesting museum. One of a kind, but you need time to explore it. You have to read all the descriptions next to the items, otherwise it doesn't make sense.
You need more than hour to go through all stories. A lot of the items didn't play almost any role in the relationship, which is pitty. But the idea is great.
