Go to the fort at night and be prepared to get spooked. There is something otherwordly there and it is impossible to put into words.
This is a diverse park - you can swim, snorkel, dive, canoe, relax in tubes, take a hike on the trail, watch manatees in the winter, and keep an eye for other signs of wildlife. My favorite local park
