The greens are incredible here. Especially for a public course. If your aim and stroke are true you will hole a lot of putts. Layout is also challenging with tight fairways.

Great tacos. Reservation is a must though otherwise wait for a table across the street at bon vivant with a cocktail and they will come over when it's ready.
Swanky hotel with a neo-classic design up on a hill. Beautiful bar and whisky room, outstanding service. Just had dinner here but would love to try a room out next time.
Absolutely loved my stay here. Charming b&b with the friendliest staff. River Spey is right in he backyard, and the owner arranged a ride to and from our tour at Balvenie. Can't wait to return!

Well stocked shop favoring speyside malts obviously. But a fine collection of other regions and indie bottlings. Recommend to ship to your home country for very reasonable prices and waive VAT!!!

Old style pub with a fantastic whisky list. Have several independent bottlings exclusively for them. Moderate prices and good food.
Staff is friendly and jovial. Lively atmosphere with extensive menu and delicious food.
On the pricier side for coffee but the quality is certainly worth it. Had a great flat white.
Probably the best view in Edinburgh. Central location and 287 stairs up gives you a view of pretty much everything. Well worth going all the way to the top. Be prepared for narrow circular staircases

Quiet setting, with superb cocktails and knowledgeable, passionate staff. Candles on every table add to the ambience. Great spot on its own or for waiting for a table across the street at el cartel.
Cocktails and whisky list! You can drink here everyday and never make it through the list. Bartenders are amazing craftsmen and women. The black dog is spectacular
Awesome brunch spot worth the half hour wait. Pretty much a standard NYC brunch menu done better than most. Bloody Mary's are terrific as is the coffee. electronic jams get you ready for a day out.
Great light and fountain show Thursday-Saturday from 9-10pm. Get sangria at one of the kiosks and find a comfy seat. Just don't sit down wind from fountain bc you will get wet.
Lively staff and great mix of American rock/pop classics. Jovial atmosphere, great bartenders, drinks on fire and free shots if you are lucky! Must see.
Excellent open air cafe with fantastic breakfast options. Get the tommy's green, it's a delicious easy drinking smoothie. If you can snag a seat in the window do it!
This is a great neighborhood bagel shop and deli with plenty of sandwich options, bakery, and coffee. Fresh squeezed juice is terrific too.
Monday nights are the best!!!! After work jazz and chorus girl or burlesque performances. Live bands are always spectacular and you'll see some good dancing too.
