Favorite sushi in Johns Creek. Its a real gem. Small but very quaint. Great service. The sushi is fresh and so tasty. The crabavocado salad is a must to start with& then anything with Salmon is a FAV
I've been coming here for over a year now, the owners are super friendly, I would recommend tuna tartare, southern belle, tunalover, salmon sashimi, crab salad, calamari, don't ask roll, spicy tuna.
Tuna tartare is the most delicious item here! You can get a small or a large, I alway get the large! the sauce is a spicy mayo, chopped tuna and avocado, and masago (fish eggs).
When I first started coming here a year ago the first thing I ever ordered was spicy tuna roll. On the menu it's called tuna roll, but it's spicy. I love it! They have the freshest ingredients!
"Don't ask" roll, the light refreshing rice free sushi roll. Made with cucumber not rice, no nori (seaweed). This is cool and refreshing and crisp. The salmon is a perfect compliment.
The tuna tartare is phenomenal, I ask for extra masago which are fish eggs. You don't have to, the proportions are perfect, I just happen to be obsessed with masago.
The chef's specialty rolls are to enjoy. I was stuck on the Danny Boy for a long time but tried the TunaLover tonight. It was WONDERFUL!! Even the owner is a delight!
Consistently good sushi. Our usual lunch spot. Wish they had more variety with the lunch specials though, you have to get a California roll with any sushi combo.
For anyone who is new to sushi, or just doesn't prefer nori (seaweed) then they are nice enough to make you a roll without it. My mother wasn't too sure she would like it so she asked for "no nori"
