    Tasty cheap food. Dimly lit. Bar, booth, and table seating. The stairs are a bit precarious, but this remains one of my favorite cozy bars.

    My all time favorite bar in Raleigh. Amazing drink specials. My favorite food option is the London Broil with additional green peppers.

    Mitch Hazouri owns this small business with diverse customers. They use locally produced vegetables for most of its food. We recommend the gluten-free gumbo.

    Avoid the veggie melt. As a lifelong vegetarian, I couldn't even choke it down. Its a 3/4" thick slice of eggplant, a zuccini sliced in half and warmed bread with a half melted piece of cheese.
