The legendary goodness of Becky’s split griddle-cooked muffins and her four-egg Titanic Omelette earned her a booming tourist trade over the years. For dinner, get the meatloaf. Leggi tutto
Have a huge breakfast at any time of day! Try the big blueberry pancakes. Unfortunately it's an extra $1.50 to get REAL maple syrup. Serving lunch and dinner too, but breakfast is the best thing here!
Stopped in for a quick bite on my way to Rockland. Amazing diner like atmosphere. Super friendly staff. The most amazing clam chowder. The fishermen’s platter did not disappoint.
My goal was to try anything and everything lobster while visiting Portland. The lobstereggs benedict at this Portland institution did not disappoint! (Neither did the homemade corned beef hash!)
Classic diner feel, and definitely a popular spot. Waited about 20m on a Sunday morning. Service was fast and wait staff was kind. The corned beef hash was delicious!
The dessert section...seriously wanted to get a piece of all of them (3 layer carrot cake, Maine blueberrycream cake, Crushed oreo and chocolate cake, strawberrylemonmousse cake, etc)
Stopped in during a snow storm. A true locals' diner, I had the huevos rancheros special. Food was great, coffee was good. Would absolutely return. They have Bissell & Bud on tap which I found funny.
Clam chowderseafood chowder with homemade biscuits and honey. Just like Mom used to make. 23$ for 3 people. We come here every time we come to Portland
Good place. I had better breakfast, but great service. Still nothing mind blowing. But a 30 minute wait def not worth it. I think it's a victim of its own success. With it being on food network.
Recommended by local chef Erik Desjarlais:"Bump elbows with lobstermen and restaurantworkers recovering from a rough night. The coffeeis hot; the eggs are cooked right."
