delicious moussaka & spanakopita (spinach & feta in phylo pastry). service was average, but to be fair they were v busy for a public hol eve. enjoyed the glass of salto wine with my meal!
Still one of the best place in Sg for Greek flavors. Some of the seafood r airflown from Greece. The mezes all taste fantastic. If you can't make up your mind for the mains, just go for the platter.
Saganaki (cheese on hot pan) with figs are irresistible. These guys also know how to do great lambs. I'm not eating lamb shanks anywhere else. Lastly, pls rmb to make reservations on weekends!
Fantastic food. Good platter with amazing lamb chops. Nice Greek beers too. Friendly service. Not cheap (around 200 SGD per person for a mountain of food, without drinks) but definitely worth it.
Some of the best Greek food I've had outside of Greece - really authentic, cooked with plenty of delicious olive oil and served in generous portions. Καλή όρεξη (Bon appetit in Greek)
First went to this place 4 years ago after reading about on City Nomads (link attached). Today, this remains one of my absolute favourite restaurants in Singapore. Food here is awesome every time! Leggi tutto
Excellent grilled octopus. Greek salad with generous serving of feta cheese. Roasted chicken was a bit pedestrian though. WR to try the grilled seafood & meats.
Great flavors from the keftedes, souvlaki, moussaka to the dessert platter! Be sure to try the one with phyllo and semolina, and the baklava (if you have room)
Tables upstairs are better (its a bit cramped downstairs by the kitchen). The grilled octopus is excellent and the Greek salad and lettuce salad w/dill are both delicious. Reasonably priced too.
Try the Talagani(cheese) if its on the special board. The Greek salad (xoriatiki) was divine. The souvlaki me pita was good. The portions are generous so best to share. Baklava is sinfully fantastic.
Must be the best Greek restaurant in Singapore. The Tzatziki is amazing as is the Saganaki (and all the other dishes we had). A place to visit many times!
Insist on a table upstairs for peace o mind. Otherwise, nt only must u put up w e heat fr e kitchen tt's rite beside u, u gotta put up w e incessant barkg o orders fr e owner to e chefs.
It's alright I guess ... decent food though I'm not sure if it was great. Then again maybe I'll need to try some other dishes. We had the saganaki, meat platter and moussaka
Ordered hummus, got an off-coloured mash that tasted of lentils. Was told that they call hummus 'Fava' and it's made of lentils but 'identical to hummus'. Sure, except in appearance and taste!
