Get the ferry across! The place itself has a derelict feel, rather than a proper cared for attraction. But interesting nonetheless...

It's a castle within a fortress. Really amazing Second World War history, though a bloody tiring walk from Milford on Sea along all those pebbles

Fascinating piece of military history with Tudor, Victorian and WWII fortifications. Arrive by ferry from Keyhaven for a family adventure.
