Tour is informative and interesting - must do! Bring your passport for a special UN stamp, as building exists in its own 'nation'.

Definitely a place you need to check out whenever you visit the city,some of the world's biggest movers and shakers visit this place often! Security is super tight so proceed with caution.

Delegates dining room is incredible! Totally worth the visit and the price. Amazing view and everyday they have a different buffet from one of the member countries

Great tour, purchase tickets in advance!, head the advice arrive 60-90 min early, you will need it to get through all check points. Check out the gift shop. Take passport for a special UN stamp.

Get your passport stamped in the post office downstairs and send a letter or postcard with a UN stamp! Free WiFi. There is a small Starbucks downstairs too.

Vale a pena conhecer e fazer o tour guiado ($18 por pessoa). Possui wi-fi. Lojinhas interessantes e café que quebra o galho :) água e banheiro perto do café no subsolo.

Tours here are great! Got to see the Security Council chamber and General Assembly room where they were filming an episode of Madame Secretary. Easy to reserve tickets too!

Vale mucho la pena el tour. De primera instancia se me hizo caro, pero es una oportunidad única de conocer las instalaciones y la historia de la ONU. En español tiene menos gente que el de inglés.

Buy tickets online (only)! No access without ticket. 18$, 13$ students. Can enter only up to 30 min before your tour! Can see Visitors Center for free only Saturdays and Sundays!

The guided tour is $16, lasts for approximately 45-60 min and it's really good: you get to see the security council, the general assembly, some expositions and more.

Wonderful educational tours of the UN are available here, provided by knowledgeable guides who speak multiple languages. There's also a great bookstore.

The tour cost $16, but I loved. You got to walk around UN, know more about their story and projects they are involved. Higly recommended if you love IR.

If you are a stand-in delegate from your country, give yourself an extra hour for them to contact your embassy and confirm you, and put diplomat plates on your drivers' car before you go to meetings.

Contemplate war and peace in the UN Meditation Room. It's not part of the tour, but open to the public. Hang a left at the Chagall stained glass window.

The Secretariat and General Assembly Buildings are undergoing renovation works which are expected to be completed by 2013. Don't expect to take great pictures of these architectural landmarks.

La visite est assez courte, d'autant que la grande salle de l'assemblée générale est fermée pour travaux jusque septembre 2014, mais la visite de ce haut lieu vaut le coup.
