There aren't many excellent sushi places in Berlin, but this is definitely in the top 3. Very reasonably priced for the quality and the staff is super nice. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
Get your craft beer fix here! Huge selection and nice staff. They also have US soft drinks like Snapple and root beer.
Use yor BVG ticket for this short, but nice ferry ride from Treptow to Oberschönweide or the other way around.

Original Berliner Kneipe. Order a Herrengedeck and eat a Schmalzstulle which is usually available for free. Something went wrong if you leave this place sober.
The burger is pretty good and their marketing is even better. Usually pretty crowded. Either go there really late or early if you want to avoid waiting.
Home of Lichtenberg 47 who play in the Oberliga (5th division). Small and pretty rundown, but charismatic stadium. Bring an umbrella if it's raining since there is no roof.
Small capacity club with super nice and up for it bar staff. The soundsystem could get an upgrade though.
The best pizza place in Friedrichshain. The Fellini pizza is to die for. Do not forget to make a reservation even if you plan a visit during the week.
Good location for bigger groups. Superb roasted goose and they serve the original Wiener Schnitzel made with veal. Service was exceptionally friendly.
Come here if you are sick of all the hipster bars in Friedrichshain. Cheap beer and it seems to be open all the time.
Skip the Brandenburger Tor and visit this less known, but far more impressive sight hidden in the Treptower Park.
Huge concert venue in the shape of a circus tent. Saw New Order there which was one of the best shows in 2015.
