Nice and quiet cafe near Highbury and islington. It's bigger than it seems and there is free wifi and a couple of plugs hidden under the seats of the tables at the back

Great place for a coffe or a drink (they do nice Aperol Spritz and the Latte is creamy). Big sofas, soft lighting, lots of plugs and free wifi make it perfect for working with laptop or chilling.
Great little place for short black or a working lunch. The rarely gets over-crowded and the staff are pretty cool.
Timberyard was sorely needed in the Covent Garden area. It's a freelancers dream with lots of plugs, WiFi, plenty of tables, meeting rooms for hire, amazing coffee and great food served all day!

New Dalston location is amazing. Electrical outlets everywhere. Gluten free brownies to die for. Generous and flavourful breakfast, my fav is the avocado salmon on toast with poached egg. Hidden Gem!
Good spot to get a bit of work done. WiFi, good coffee, free sparkling water, newspapers on sticks. Order food to your table from Hoi Polloi next door. Never gets silly busy, mornings quieter.

First visit to the new LMNH! More calm café vibes than Old St's charming buzz. The coffee was great as always and I can easily imagine returning for a few beers here in the evening.

A wonderful place to work if you find yourself in Fitzrovia/Bloomsbury. Lots of plugs, natural light, high ceilings, loose leaf teas, bagels, free WiFi. Password is on a piece of paper by the till.
