The 73 or X73 buses will take you to Milan town centre. Buy a €1.50 pass to get you into town, ignore the Milan Card and bus offer the ticket guy will try to hawk onto you.
Small dirtyairport. Not many options for food or shopping whilst waiting. Security is slow and aggressive. Would never fly into this airport again, if it weren't to visit family.
If you're flying from T2 (for example Easyjet) remember - as I didn't the last time!! - that it's a 10 minute bus transfer from the MXP express and also that security isn't exactly rapid.
