Contrary to popular belief, Coney Island style hot dogs originated in Detroit, not NY. CI in NY is an amusement park. Wiki or Google it. Loose burger w/chili and cheese rocks.
Jason MousseauFebbraio 23, 2010Ignore Sara ans come have a coney dog. Some people have no idea about the complexities of opening a restaurant in Chicago. It is worth the wait and tastes the same as the coneys I grew with.

JUST like Detroit's! "A little piece of home"! Love it. Sooo good, reasonably priced (for Chicago!). I will be a "regular" there for sure!- NICEST STAFF! During the busy lunch rush, they gave us free dessert for our wait! They do business right!

Hunter CannonMaggio 6, 2010The service is unbelievable! Great people. I'm sorry but Coney Island is in NY not Detriot and these hotdogs aren't even close. Maybe they should make an effort to have an authentic Coney Dog.
Closed to seating in the dining room at 7:15 + no takeout + taking 8 months to open = mega fail! They've got nothing on the Detroit coney I grew up with!
Carie BadgettMaggio 1, 2010New York hotdogs from Detroit? In Chicago? It doesn't make sense. There are plenty of places with good Chicago dogs. Skip this nasty place.
