The bed was large and comfortable, and I appreciated the fluffy robe and shower pressure. The air quality and heating in the room was problematic.

Ben SteinerAgosto 16, 2014W/o a doubt, one of the nicest independent hotels I've stayed at. Matadero & Baron rooms're excellent for biz meetings and the staff couldn't be nicer. GREAT choice in Palo Alto!

"Lovely hotel with big rooms. Walking distance to restaurants both ways. You need to ask for water though - they do not offer bottled water in your rooms unless you ask for them. Ask for shower gel too"
