Food was delicious. Margarita wasn’t. Service was slow. Strange...happy hour doesn’t apply to people sitting in the back area that’s slightly raised. 🤔🤨

I read russian dumplings and I said I have to try them. Tried the chicken and the shredded beef with pork. The latter was fantastic and the pickle really adds a touch as weird as it might seem.

Trust me-they're the best in NYC! Skins are perfectly thin & not doughy & filling is so tasty. You'll be dreaming of these boiled pork & chive dumplings & not any others!
We ordered the meat by the 1/4 lb and 2 slices of bread, much better deal than the $17 sandwich.
My staples: Patlican (non-oily, smoky & garlicky eggplant purée), Garlic Ckn (wt meat chunks w/ lemon, wt wine+veggies) & Manti (homemade Turkish grnd beef dumplings w/ garlic-yogurt, sumac & mint).
Go during happy hour between 4-7pm! The atmosphere was very classy and there was live piano jazz.
Potato and cabbage dumplings with dill and soy sauce were sooo good! And the guys working there are friendly and helpful. Cool little spot.
They are by the W 4th st stop every day but Monday! Love it for a quick snack or late night eats. Get the Siberian with Gouda, sour cream and a free pickle!

Happy this N. Chinese hand-pulled chain is part of the UES. Try their Spicy & Tingly Beef Noodle, the Oxtail Noodle & my fave are their Spicy & Sour Spinach Dumplings.
Back to Shanghainese roots..my fave & THE BEST Xiao lung bao (aka XLB or crabmeat soup dumplings) served in US! Get Spicy cabbage, Fried Pork Chop & Bamboo apps are not too oily or over-seasoned ;9
