Woody’s is the heart of Philly's gay nightlife. Downstairs caters to a more mature crowd, offering craft beer and a delicious food menu. Upstairs is where the party really happens. Leggi tutto
The only place to go out on a Wednesday night in Philly (besides Voyeur across the street). Campy music in the front, hip-hop (inexplicably) in the back with all the neon lighting.
The best gay club in Philly IMO. There are other great clubs in the city for the gays, but Woodys by far (especially after the renovation) is a treat & a great spot to introduce a new gay to the city.
This gayborhood haven for all boasts a welcoming vibe conducive to LGBT singles looking to meet someone; equal parts pub and club, the downstairs offers food and a large beer selection.
If you love to dance it up to tunes you'll actually recognize, visit Woody's. This classic Philadelphia venue is not one to be missed. Tip - download their app on your phone while you're there. :)
Most popular gay bar in Philly. Recently renovated with an updated bi-level interior and spectacular beer selection. The gay Cheers of Philly where everybody knows your name and who you've slept with.
If you're ready to dance, the two rooms upstairs are great on the weekends. Although it's better with a group as the crowd is hit or miss. The downstairs isn't a very nice space
Woody’s offers eclectic themes & events, from Latin to country-western nights. They dish up a mean brunch, too, completed by Bloody Marys made with cucumber vodka. You just know you'll be back.
A great selection of 32 craft beers that u should try... And although it may be biased, make sure to visit @RickyMak at the main bar if u can appreciate good bartending.
Grab a drink at Woody's during Philly's 3rd Annual Bar AIDS on Thursday, September 27. A portion of your coffees and cocktails all day long benefits 4 local AIDS service organizations. Cheers! Leggi tutto
Sounds like they expect the first-floor construction to be finished by "the end of summer." Don't let that stop you: it's a great bar with great staff!
Woman at the front told me I should "get a better job" because I didn't want to pay the cover. Once inside, it was filled with straight people spilling drinks, bumping into others, and making out.
Need better service.....I am a bartender and didn't want to to stay since it appeared as if it didn't matter if I was there or not to them....pricey drinks!
