Oink is a "one-dish buffet". You choose your size for the pork sandwich, decide on the toppings and eat. Simple, delicious and fast. With Oink, you should have a root beer or a ginger beer.
The Whiskey selection and knowledge of staff is one of the best in Scotland. Not a tourist destination. You will be surounded by laughing, good natured Scots in an authentic pub atmosphere.

Excellent service. The starters were average. Order the Bloody Mary oysters only if you like spicy sauce with your oysters. The mains (fish and pasta) were outstanding. John Dory was great.

Highly recommend for a healthy and tasty lunch. Tamarind beef salad, summer rice paper rolls, sea bream carpaccio all delicious and zingy with lashings of lime, chilli and coriander.
It's all about the craft beer here. Fantastic selection on tap and in bottles. Can't fault the range and selection. The food is good too. I had the locally sourced pork pie and it was very good.
Browse the shop before you buy your ticket for the tour - for £35 you can buy a bottle of gin (worth £30) plus a glass plus a tour voucher. The tour is £10 on its own so you'll save a fiver!
One of the few distilleries with a restaurant inside, their langostins are very fresh!! One of the smokiest whiskey in Islay.
The drive is as great as the distillery is and their whisky is the favourite of many locals!
The biggest on Islay, impressive. Very nice chocolate pairing with a lot of information. Learned a lot there. The site with the view on Jura is great. The whiskies are gorgeous, even the unpeated 17.
Go upstairs in the visitor centre and enjoy one of the nice whiskies produced here. Or take the Craftsmen tour for a very detailed tour of the premises including a visit inside the kiln and warehouse.
The basic tour will cost u 10£, will last 1 hour, totally worth it, call to book in advance as there are usually 3 tours per day. They will gift u a wee glass and a wee dram if you are driving.

Probably the funkiest cocktail joint in Edinburgh and the music is always on point, with 90s hip-hop and alternative electronica. Needless to say, the Bramble cocktail is the ish.
