My favorite burger in the neighborhood, if not the city. Patty is loosely packed and takes a great char. Solid 'comeback sauce'. Reg. burger's on the small side but gluttons are covered by the double.

The chicken sandwich deluxe is great. Very juicy and worth the money. Nice little southern spot on Smith street. Will definitely come here again.

Get the fried chicken over the sandwich. The scallion pancake is really unique and tasty. Fried pickles, Mac n cheese and banana pudding are all great. Pass on the fries.

Wasn't in the mood for a heavy fried chicken feast, so two of us opted for the tacos & collard green salad instead. Very satisfied w/ the flavor & the weight of those dishes. Bonus: Tots & 🍟:👏.

Amazing fried chicken...don't be shy, get the fried pickles, too--best of their kind. If you need to balance it with virtuosity, add the raw collard salad, which is great.

The fried chicken sandwich is good. It's not all white meat so be warned. Beers in cans come with a koozie that you can take home. The fried pickles looked insane.

Slowly, but surely, Wilma Jean is becoming a neighborhood favorite. Definitely the best fried chicken around, great tater tots and macaroni & cheese. Quick and easy takeout, too!

A simply fantastic spot. Cafeteria style seating keeps the wait down for highly wait-worthy grub. Everything is delicious.

Fried chicken sandwich was legit. Simple but really well executed. Pimento cheese dip was also good. Fried pickles were too fried, too thin, and chewy.

Arrived with 4 people. Food took almost an hour to arrive. So long that our waiter commented about it. Twice. But they didn't comp us an appetizer or a drink. Food was good, but portions small. :/
