Un posto meraviglioso assolutamente da visitare. Uno dei luoghi piu' belli della grande mela. Un museo fatta dalla collezione privata di mister Morgan.

A beautiful, magical space that transports you far away from the bustle and noise of the world outside. And even more unreal, the guards all greet you cheerfully as you enter each room and exhibition.

Go on Friday at 7 for free admission. You can see quite a lot in 2 hours, even if you stop for a drink first. There's lovely live music at the café and the apricot mimosa is delicious.

Free on a Friday is after 7 PM. J.P. Morgan's personal library and study are here. The study is nicely decorated with medieval paintings and objects. They also have traveling exhibitions.

The library is astonishing; found the 2 hidden staircase behind the secret door bookshelves. Look up at Edgar Allan Poe's iron-designed ceiling room with 650 birds, each one is unique.

Make sure you check out the secret staircases in the main library! Look for dolphin handles on the bookcases that flank the entrance. If you go during a tour they might open them up for you!

You can use your camera in most parts except special exhibitions. A pity that so many books are now locked away as display pieces. I doubt that many scholars will use them. Books should be read.
