Lived near Radnor for 40+ years. Wildlife is varied, and as hunting is prohibited, deer show little fear of mankind: they stand & watch when people drive up. Change of seasons is gorgeous as well.

One of my favorite parks in Nashville. Come here to get away and enjoy the long walking paths around the lake. Parking can be tough during peak hours though.

Radnor Lake maintains strict rules about what can be brought onto the premises, so no picnicking, and biking is only allowed on the closed-off road. Leggi tutto

On weekends or exceptionally nice days, parking is really tough. Go early or be prepared to wait for a spot.

Take the entrance off Granny White instead of Franklin -Franklin side parking is a lot smaller & often doesn't have any available spots.

Radnor Lake is such a great place to walk and relax. Bring your dogs too - however, they are not allowed on the wood trails, just the road around the lake.

Spring is about to sprung, which makes a Hike along Ganier Ridge a must at this time of year. See if you can spot the Barred Owls.

This is nashville's biggest secret. Beavers are back. Otters swimming around and playing. Look high in the trees for red tailed hawks.
