Had the 9-course tasting menu & was simply outstanding!!! Loved the complimentary starter of mussel in beer & curry foam, the halibut & clam in chowder juice & the lobster with miso leek ice cream!!!

This place is all about Maine. Chef Ryan McCaskey spent his childhood summers there, where he learned a thing or two. P.S: The buns are shipped straight from Maine. Leggi tutto

Came here intending to get the lobster roll sandwich we had read about, but were surprised by the very modern sophisticated menu. Best gin & tonic ever, and the charcuterie appetizer was inspired!

The focus is on food that is rich and satisfying rather than revolutionary. If a dish fails, Michael Simon's ambitious drinks and sommelier Jason Prah's interesting wine list provide plenty of solace. Leggi tutto

Too often overlooked for its less-than-picturesque exterior and South Loop location, Ryan McCaskey’s restaurant is a four-year-old gem that can hold its own with just about any restaurant in town. Leggi tutto

Absolutely Fabulous. The food, the service, the decor, everything was wonderful. Upscale but still comfortable = highly recommended. Save room for dessert too!

Look for ingredients from the chef's home state of Maine. Other highlights are chicken noodle soup and potato and apple "risotto." – Green Guide Editor

Great add for the sloop. Mixologists manning the bar and relaxed fine dining atmosphere. Love the little additions through the meal!

Holy moly - the lobster roll and burger are best in show. Your palette will never be the same. Wash down w/ a Moscow Mule.

Skip the chicken presse; it misses the mark. But the deconstructed lobster pot pie has all the hallmarks of a signature dish.

Saddest looking burger plating wise, taste not as sad as it looks - really good! Service though is awful (seated in table by bar area). Took the server 20mins to get our order! Not coming back.

Incredible cocktails (unique spirits you cannot find elsewhere), and the food (particularly the mushroom raguout) was very high quality. Service was poor - frantic, dismissive, and sometimes rude
