This SRO espresso shop serves the creamiest cappuccino in the city. Be sure to get the olive shortbread if they've made it. Closed on Mondays.

Order a latte with a slice of the amazing olive oil cake - you won't regret it. Definitely our favorite place to grab coffee in the East Village.

Standing room only and even so, a tight squeeze for more than 2 people. Be prepared to have your drink standing outside. In the cold. Also, they don't have any non-coffee drinks on the menu.

Small space, great coffee. Not the place to meet a friend or do work. However it is the place to get a perfectly dialed in espresso.

Excellent coffee! Try the cortado. It's a real "analogue" place as no laptops are allowed.

Incredible ice coffee that really stands out from other places, but add the sugar yourself if you don't like it too sweet.
